As we approached time to head home we tried to make sure we took advantage of every moment. This little beach right down from our house had fun waves and turtles. You can see that even Baby Ashley Tashley and Winky the frog came down to enjoy the fun. We didn't realize how many turtles until our neighbor told us-so we went to check it out.
To our surprise and shock-Mark and Saige were snorkeling with the turtles and then they came up nice and close for us to all touch their backs and feed them sea weed (I found out afterwards that we weren't suppose to because they want the turtles to not rely on humans nor to become aggressive.)
It was a fun experience for all of us to see these creatures in the wild but we knew we had to be careful. Turtle bay also has tons of turtles up there but this year we didn't find them as easily.
Saige said that at one point she saw 12 turtles in the cove we were in. It was too bad we didn't discover this place sooner.
I love how Ambria is talking to the turtles and it looks as if it is trying to talk back.

isn't it crazy that sometime the coolest things are closer the the great adventures of far away are. glad someone informed you of the turtles.
