Going home

My brother in law Gordon gave a fabulous talk at Grandma Lokken's funeral about "going home". I loved how he likened it to us all loving to get together and share time with one another and how going to Heaven is the same way-going home to those who love you. Grandma's funeral was beautiful and mixed with a  really nice program. Uncle Mark gave the Eulogy. Judd, Tamera and Kristy shared memories of growing up with Grandma. The girls all did a song mix of 2 primary songs and it sounded lovely. Gordon gave a talk and story of her last day. I am sure Grandma was thrilled and chuckled. Always a fun character that Grandma.

 The luncheon afterwards was a great time to visit with everyone. Aunt Kevyn put so much work into it and her daughters, they out did themselves.

 Rylan and Brooke still play so great together even after all this time apart. It is cute how cousins can get along at all ages.

 The little girls kept going around adventuring around the building. It was so beautiful outside you couldn't blame them. Brooke, Ka???, Rylan, Ambria and Kiera.

 Janet and Heather have that special cousin relationship bond too and can be found everywhere together.

 Grant and Mark listening in on Uncle Marks crazy stories of his youth. Who knew that trunks, people and ketchup could cause quite a stir.

  The Brennan family with of course a few missing. Some of the kids were out running around and of course some adults were doing who knows what- so this was the crew that was here.  Last here is a group of the cousins all together. Look at that fun group so cute and endearing.

It was great to be together to honor a great woman and to also share memories of her. I know our family can't wait to meet up again with the Lokken side next year for a Reunion it will be lots of fun.
