Every year we head out camping with our friends. This year we were able to go up a day early to get a start on all the boating fun. We had a day filled with swimming and boat riding. I was able to take over the reins in the boat driving seat so that Mark could have a turn out in the water, skiing and tubing. Our girls are kind of funny because if it is up to them they would prefer to sit right in the boat and watch or swim when we are in a stand still spot. For some reason Bree will only do it with friends, Saige the same way all of a sudden and Rylan really wont have anything to do with any tube.
I am so thankful that Rylan loves little kids. Grace and Scarlett were her best pals on this trip and they giggled all the time doing silly things. We always have a great time with the Chapmans and thankfully the kids all get a long.
A boat has multiple uses
We pretty much had a girl boat and a boy boat. The only bummer part about this was that Mel and I didn't get our annual scare on the tube-oh well there is always next year.
Saige liked going over with the boys because they were more adventurous.
While the kids play, we get to rest on the boat and try to get some sun HA HA.
How many kids can one fit on these tubes????? Plenty believe me. The daring ones would stand up, do acrobats and jump while being towed.
No she doesn't ride on it this way, but Bree thinks it is the perfect spot to get away too.
I'd like to think that we are full of adventure and fun and that our kids will walk away in life realizing that they had some great growing up years. I always remember times we would go away with our cousins camping, or with church friends so maybe they will too.
