Saige and her sharp objects

Saige has an infatuation with spending time in the hospital (or so it seems). Last time she was in the ER it was because she cut her hand with some scissors and had to get them stitched. This time it was a sharp knife-who watches this kid?? I know that is what you are thinking. Well-Her dad thought she was grown up enough to get a leatherman at Christmas time-Because he updated his and she is the biggest tom boy of our girls. I didn't think it was the grandest idea but he insisted that she and him and made a deal never to open up the knife or it wouldn't be hers anymore. Needless to say the other night Ambria and Saige were playing and found the Leatherma-well a dare is a dare, right and ow in between her thumb and pointer was chunked out. The owie was good and bled tons-enough to take her to the ER. Sadly they couldn't even stitch because she was missing too much skin. So Saige will have a scar and when she gets older she will have to get it touched up if it doesn't heal properly. I think we all learned a lesson about sharp objects and little kids. Needless to say Mark isn't giving her a gun anytime soon. (Go figure.)
