Happy Fourth

Here we are, the family on the fourth (except Saige who stayed with my family in the tri-cities). We went out to enjoy the hot day-I think it was in the high 80's low 90's) at the local parade and took in all the community fun.

Rylan is on this kick about not getting her picture taken, she always wants to be hiding under a hand or something-in this case she was being patriotic and hid under her flag. We really had a mellow fourth of July and we were able to picnic outside and then head on over to The Brennans for some outdoor adventures and fun with all the cousins. In the summer time at the Brennans you must get out the slip and slide and test it out a few times, you know to see how far you can slither down the grass at the end.

I loved how proper Rylan was sitting as she warmed up in the sunshine.

Family time is a lot of sitting around visiting and catching up on what everyone is doing. Emily and Nathan were getting a good chuckle out of a photo that was taken of them-they were sitting exactly alike so it was kind of funny.

It was great fun to have Jeremy and Tamera up for the holiday since we really don't get to see them very much. We love the fun that their family brings to all of us. I can't believe that Noah is 14 and ready for dances-FREAKY. I loved it when I mentioned it to him and he said he had already went to 2 at EFY- Levi asked him if he danced at all and Noah said yeah like 14 and Levi said, "NICE" It was so fun to hear boys talk about this kind of stuff instead of just the YW that I work with.

Rylan was having a blast watching all her Boy cousins play "fight" It was funny because she wanted to interact but wasn't quite sure how she could-so she was the cheerleader on the side.

Boys will be boys Right? Seth, Christian and Landon having a great ol' time while Rylan watches from the sidelines.

Rolling over with laughter

As the evening wore on we pulled out the ol' smores and had us some roasting, toasting fun. Saige ended up catching a ride back with my Dad to Hood River so we were able to have her for the firework display.

Ambria was not about to miss out on the marshmallows and smores-she found her a prime seat on top of the car and was ready for the show. We really didn't see Bree much on this day because she was always with her cousins all over the place.

It really was a good fourth of July and even though we broke tradition and watched it from the Brennans house it was still a lot of fun and the kids were worn out so it made it a quicker trip home to bed. Brooke Stayed up and enjoyed the entertainment too-she wasn't whiny at all and I think she really enjoyed them, she is so fun.

I am so glad that we do have family around to take in the holiday's with and to have time to spend together. Thanks Fam.
