At the end of the summer we all have to say goodbye to the warm sunshine and embrace ourselves for the long rainy season here in the Gorge. It is not something we do very well-giving back our sun for the fall but it must be done. Last weekend we headed up to Trillium Lake Near Mt. Hood to have fun with some friends and enjoy some sun shine in the great outdoors. Rylan found that feeding the birds bread was the best thing about our adventure.
In fact all the kids had a blast and ended up trying to get the birds to eat off their hands, shoulders, feet etc.. Who doesn't love to feed the birds?
Little girls are so cute and those smiles just make you wanna pinch those cheeks. Rylan loves being with friends and sharing special times. I think she teaches them a lot and they teach her a lot. Most of her friends are the oldest child and Rylan is the youngest so you can imagine what it can do with friends.
REALLY-I mean look at that view. Ambria took the Kayaks out for almost the entire time we were at the lake. She would paddle around the lake and then she hooked up another Kayak to hers and would take the littler ones on a little "train/Kayak" ride. I am not sure who enjoyed it more.
These girls are salamander catching guru's-they attempted catching them from the dock-with a net. Not too successful but it was entertaining.
Cousin Kennedy was able to come up with us to the lake for the day so Ambria and Kennedy spent some time sporting around. It is always so much fun to have cousins over because we live in the same town and the girls really don't get to see them very often-too busy we all are.
The crazy group up at Trillium lake-with some guests on the side that couldn't move their lunch for us to take a photo,-priorities.
The sun was bright so we couldn't see the greatest but here's my sweet family.
