Roasting Marshmallows

Sometimes you just have to roast marshmallows right? We got together with our friends to take the opportunity to do just that while the rain drops stay far away just a little longer. The kids ran around, ate so many marshmallows they almost turned into one, and played all evening long.

 We tried to get that charcoal lighted up but it took a little more creativity than we needed. Chris found motor oil-we didn't have any scout water, but it worked out just fine. It also made those marshmallows taste so good-j/k you couldn't taste it there was so little.

 I just love spending time with  my family.

 It is wonderful to have friends that you can do anything with. Our kids love to play with each other and of course we love to do nothing together and everything all at the same time.

 Even these crazies can yap it up with the best of them.

Nice closure to the summer season-I guess we can make it through until next year for some more marshmallows and smores.
